Brian Sack and Yonatan Mandelbaum Promoted to Partners

We are thrilled to announce that Brian Sack and Yonatan Mandelbaum have been promoted to Partners.

This milestone signifies not only their dedication and contributions to our mission here at TLV Partners, but also recognizes their standing and reputation amongst the entrepreneurial community and overall ecosystem.

Both Brian and Yonatan have been with us since the early days of TLV Partners. Brian joined us back in 2016, just a few months after Eitan and I founded the firm. From the get-go, he was hands-on when it came to building the firm’s deal flow infrastructure, participating in investments and partnering with our portfolio companies.

Yonatan joined the team in early 2017, still in the midst of our first fund, and actually came recommended to us by Brian. He too dove right into sourcing high quality deals and working closely with some of our earliest investments.

Throughout the years they earned more responsibilities, gained the trust of our founders and became key voices internally. Most of our founders are accustomed to not only working closely with myself, Eitan or Shahar, but also to working closely with either Brian or Yonatan.

In early 2020 they were both promoted to Principals and in 2021 they began to lead investments themselves. It’s been a pleasure to witness their continued growth and experience firsthand the development of their investment philosophies.

Yonatan has built a name for himself amongst the fintech and vertical software communities. He has demonstrated his true passion for serving founders in otherwise underserved industries time and time again, which serves as a constant flow of proprietary deal flow. He has led investments in Noble, Panax, PrettyDamnQuick, and ehouse and beyond that, he works closely with the teams at Unit, Run:ai, Mesh, Gelt, Deepcure, Flip, and Datagen, all of which he sourced.

Brian’s very first investment, Neosec, was acquired by Akamai earlier this year. That investment was a product of the deep expertise he has cultivated for himself in the cyber and infrastructure domains. He’s also led our investments in CodiumAI and GoodOnes. Additionally, Brian was heavily involved with Oribi (acquired by Linkedin), Laminar (acquired by Rubrik), Puresec (acquired by Palo Alto Networks) and Rookout (acquired by Dynatrace), and works closely with Aqua Security and Port.

Both Yonatan and Brian embody our shared values of trust, teamwork and excellence across all facets of their work and as Partners the two of them will continue to lead new investments, champion new efforts internally and make their mark on the ecosystem. We couldn’t be prouder to make this announcement.

Join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved promotion!
